Window Cling Contest

Grow It and Show It at the 2013

Anderson County Fair

Window Cling Contest - Any Anderson County 4-Her can participate in the Window Cling Contest. Use the theme Grow It and Show It at the 2013 Anderson County Fair and design a window cling to advertise the county fair. Fair dates are July 23 - 27, 2013. Window Clings due at Extension Office on February 22, 2013 by 5 pm.

4-H Scholarship Fund Raiser

The Anderson County Scholarship was started with memorial money from the family of Maurice (Maury) Harrington (1931 - 2003), past Anderson County Extension Agent. Families of Alfred Bunnel (1928-2003), 4-H leader and long time fairboard member; and Waldo Poovey (2004), long time fairboard member and 4-H livestock leader; chose the 4-H scholarship for their memorial monies. The family of Helen Cubit (2007), former Anderson County home Economics Agent and long time 4-H Lucky 13 4-H Community Leader also gave memorial money to the 4-H Scholarship. Charlotte Bunnel (2011), wife of Alfred Bunnel and long time 4-H leader of Colony Hi Point 4-H memorial money was added to the scholarship fund. through time many individuals have given money to the 4-H Scholarship in memory of their friends and family members.

Anderson County 4-H Scholarship Run/Walk is held the Sunday before the beginning of the Anderson County Fair.

T-shirt sizes are Youth Small, Youth medium, Youth Large, Youth Extra Large, (toddler shirts are not available), Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large, Adult Extra Large, Adult 2 XL, and Adult 3XL. Adult Shirts are $10; youth t-shirts are $7.
