4-H and Youth
4-H is a community of young people across Kansas engaged in learning leadership, citizenship,and life skills.  Kansas 4-H teaches five life skills:

   Positive Self
   Sound Decision Making
   Positive Interpersonal Relationships
   Desire for Life Long Learning
   Concern for Community  
 
 
Each of the four H's of the clover represent ways youth can grow and develop.
H ead, critical thinking, problem solving;
H eart, self-discipline, integrity, communication;
H ands, serving others; and
H ealth, choosing healthy lifestyles. 

In 4-H, youth have fun with a purpose.
 
 
 
4-H Volunteer Training

Any volunteer or parents who are leaders, project leaders, etc. must attend one VIP training.  A renewal form must be complete annually after the first year.  This is required for Kansas 4-H Youth Protection.
